The South Canterbury Branch warmly invites all VCC of NZ motorcycling members to join us on 12–14 February 2027 for the National Motorcycle Rally, with an optional After Rally Tour from 15–18 February. Rally routes will take place on a variety of scenic South Canterbury roads.
Veteran motorcycle owners are especially encouraged to attend, with quiet roads and easy riding conditions making it an ideal outing.

Rally Headquarters is Phar Lap Raceway, Washdyke at the north of Timaru. Entrance is on Racecourse Road (SH8 – Pleasant Point Highway).
Please note that due to horse training activity taking place in February we have been asked to ensure bikes are not started before 9am each day.
Self contained vehicles only are permitted to stay at headquarters – pack in pack out. $10 per vehicle per night paid directly to the raceway – instructions are displayed at the site. First in first served.
Accommodation is the responsibility of the entrant.

Monday 15 February
- South Canterbury clubrooms and parts shed open from 9 – 12am. Join the club members for a cuppa.
After Rally Tour/Hub Rally – Monday 15 to Thursday 18 February
- Monday to Thursday – An After Rally Tour/Hub Rally will be held each day.
- Participants are responsible for their own lunches, evening meals etc.
- Destinations will showcase some of South Canterbury’s sites and interesting places.
