There are many events that occur over the year, that you are able to participate in as a Vintage Car Club member.

2026

  • 9 July – Mid-week run
  • 1 and 2 August – Trials and Young Driver Day
  • 6 August – Quiz evening with Ashburton Branch (South Canterbury Hosting)
  • 8 August – Garage Raid (South Canterbury Hosting)
  • 13 August – Mid-week run
  • 24 August – Cancer Society Daffodil delivery day
  • 30 August – Daffodil Rally for Cancer
  • 10 September – Mid-week run
  • 13 September – Opening Run with Ashburton Branch (South Canterbury Hosting)
  • 26 to 28 September – Mount Cook Rally (Note change of month, taking place on South Canterbury Weekend)
  • 17 October – Continental Run
  • 24 and 25 October – Vintage, Veteran and Commercial Run (likely 2-day event)
  • 6, 7 and 8 November – Safari Weekend
  • 12 December – Christmas run, and lunch function

2027

Public Events

All British Day: Held every Queens Birthday Weekend Sunday. Open to all owners of British made vehicles regardless of year of manufacture, and whether Club members or not.

The first hour is a display, followed by a lunch time run to a venue of interest – revealed on the day – in the South Canterbury area.

Continental Day: Held in Mid-September. Open to all owners of mainland European made vehicles regardless of year of manufacture, and whether Club members or not.
